How to Care for Your Jewelry

How to Care for Your Stainless Steel Jewelry

Stainless steel jewelry is loved for its durability, shine, and resistance to tarnish,  but even the toughest pieces need a little care to keep them looking brand new. With just a few easy habits, you can extend the life and luster of your favorite stainless steel accessories.

1. Clean Regularly With Mild Soap and Water
Stainless steel is low-maintenance, but it still collects oils and dirt from daily wear. A quick clean with warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth is usually all it needs. Rinse well and pat dry to avoid water spots.

2. Avoid Harsh Chemicals

3. Polish With a Soft Cloth
Use a microfiber or jewelry polishing cloth to bring back its shine.

4. Store It Properly
Keep your stainless steel pieces in a dry place, ideally in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box. Storing items separately helps with scratching.

5. Keep It Dry When Possible
Stainless steel is water-resistant, but prolonged exposure to moisture can cause buildup or spotting. After showers, workouts, or washing hands, give your jewelry a quick dry.

6. Deep Clean When Needed
For stubborn grime, soak the jewelry in a mix of warm water and mild soap for a few minutes, gently scrub with a soft toothbrush, and rinse. It’s an easy refresh that restores its brilliance.

With just a little attention, your stainless steel jewelry will stay sparkling, strong, and beautiful for years to come. Treat it well, and it will keep shining with every wear.
